Crynodeb
As a Level 3 Qualified Early Years Educator, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality early years education and care. You will support children’s learning and development through planned, purposeful play, ensuring every child feels safe, valued, and inspired to learn.
Key Responsibilities
• Plan, deliver, and evaluate engaging activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
• Act as a key person for a group of children, building secure attachments and supporting individual development
• Observe, assess, and record children’s progress, using assessments to inform next steps
• Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment, both indoors and outdoors
• Support children’s personal care routines, including meals, toileting, and rest times
• Promote positive behaviour in line with the setting’s policies
• Work in partnership with parents and carers, sharing information about children’s progress and wellbeing
• Ensure safeguarding, health, and safety procedures are always followed
• Maintain accurate documentation, including learning journals and daily records
• Support and mentor less experienced staff where appropriate
• Work collaboratively as part of the wider early years team
• Engage in ongoing training and professional development
