Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Assistant Investment Surveyor – Decarb to join our team on a 12-month fixed term contract. This role can be based at either our Tewkesbury or Wolverhampton office and offers a flexible hybrid working arrangement, with a mix of office-based work, site visits, and working from home. You will typically work 2–3 days in the office or on site, supporting the delivery of home investment works, cyclical maintenance, and major repairs. You will be involved in all aspects of project and contract management, tendering, design, and specification.

Your work will help us provide homes that our customers are proud to live in—homes that work for them and their families and serve as a springboard for achieving their aspirations.

Join Bromford, part of Bromford Flagship, and become part of a leading housing provider delivering community-focused services across the Midlands and South West — all backed by the scale and ambition of the Bromford Flagship group.

What we’re looking for

  • Experience or knowledge of property investment, construction, or housing-related activities.
  • Experience in budget management, contract administration, and oversight of contractors and suppliers.
  • Desirable: Construction-related qualification or equivalent industry experience.
  • Flexible and reliable, with strong time management skills and the ability to travel as required.
  • Proficient in using mobile devices (e.g., tablets, smartphones) and computer systems.
  • Confident in using email and digital communication tools.

Additional requirements

  • Full UK driving licence and the ability to drive.
  • Ability to successfully complete an enhanced DBS check (provided by Bromford)
  • Willingness to travel across the West of England and occasionally to the Midlands. A company car or cash allowance alternative is provided to support travel.

Closing date: Monday 16th March 2026

We recommend applying early, as we may close this vacancy sooner if we receive a high number of applications.
