A Vacancy at Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership NHS Trust.
Join us as a Consultant Psychiatrist in Community Eating Disorders. This is a new post in the Complex Eating Disorders Service, working alongside three other consultants.
The community role will involve direct clinical care and providing clinical leadership to a multidisciplinary team (MDT) which includes specialist nurses, nurse therapists, clinical psychologist, dietitians, occupational therapists, social workers and peer support workers.
There are endless opportunities for your career here. As a Trust we are leading national studies on trauma and psychosis, and our growing research partnerships with local universities means plenty of opportunities to get involved in research. You’ll also inspire the next generation of psychiatrists through supervision of career grade and resident doctors, with opportunities to get involved in teaching.
Applications are welcome from both experienced and new consultants, and we can offer relocation packages.
In the community role, you will attend team meetings, formal multi-disciplinary reviews and case conferences, informal patient reviews and professionals’ discussions. Running regular clinics for new patient assessments and follow up.
At Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership NHS Trust (CWPT), we deliver a wide range of physical, mental health, learning disability and autism services, and are proud to serve communities across Coventry, Warwickshire and beyond.
We put ‘people at our heart’; this ethos is at the centre of everything we do and how we do it. We care for our staff and colleagues as much as they care for others and offer a wide range of benefits and development opportunities.

• salary sacrifice schemes for lease car/ vehicle, Cycle to Work, home and electronics, gym membership and more
• discounts with a range of retailers, restaurants and entertainment venues through our Employee Assistance Programme and NHS discount schemes
• wellbeing support, including an in-house counselling service, external helpline and more
