Job Description: Are you passionate about Warehouse and Distribution and looking to make a significant impact in a dynamic logistics company? We are currently seeking a Warehouse Hub Supervisor to join our team at our Queenslie depot. In this role, you will be responsible for providing effective overnight leadership and ensuring the smooth running of all warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the smooth running of all Hub operations, maintaining high standards of service and operational flow.
  • Lead and maintain operational efficiency within the Hub environment.
  • Provide effective overnight leadership and supervision, managing a team of six FLT drivers and planners, and reporting directly to the onsite Night Manager.
  • Work closely with the transport teams to support the smooth and efficient running of the overall operation.
  • Oversee operational debriefs with the Shift Team Leader, ensuring all vehicle‑loading activities are completed accurately and on time.
  • Coordinate key workforce activities, including holiday and sickness planning, operational communication, Health & Safety compliance, and equipment maintenance requirements.
  • Manage the service and maintenance schedule for all operational equipment, ensuring compliance and minimising downtime.
  • Support the preparation and delivery of team briefings, including contributing to topics and associated documentation.
  • Investigate and resolve internal and external queries promptly and professionally.
  • Assist in the production, tracking, and reporting of KPIs and daily operational statistics.

Requirements:

  • Experience working within the pallet network operations, with knowledge of freight handling and efficient vehicle loading is preferred.
  • Experience in hub or warehouse operations.
  • Experience operating counterbalance trucks (valid certification desirable).
  • Strong team‑management abilities, with the capability to support, guide, and coordinate colleagues effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills and prioritising workload.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
