Expectations from post holder: Augment their existing clinical, educational, and intellectual skills in order to make decisions and problem solve for the benefit of the patient, students, and others within the Trust. Provide evidence-based clinical and educational practice which is robust and makes optimum use of available resources including local expertise and experience. Develop their current interpersonal and communication skills with regards to effective collaboration and conducive to co-operation within teams Develop confidence and competence as a beginning specialist in clinical, educational, and scholarly practice. Convey enthusiasm for their specialty to undergraduate medical students. Gain experience of teaching across curricula and within rotations Develop their academic and scholarship profile in their field of interest.
