Summary

Electrical Shift Engineer (Days Only) - Iconic Corporate Site

Location: East London

Salary: £47,000 + on call + overtime

Shift Pattern: Continetial shift (Days Only - 7am - 7pm)

The Opportunity

Are you a technically elite Electrical Engineer looking for a premium shift role without the night shifts?

We are seeking an Electrical Shift Engineer to join our team at one of London's most prestigious commercial landmarks. This is a rare "Days Only" shift opportunity, working within a "best-in-class" maintenance environment where engineering pride and technical excellence are at the heart of everything we do.

Our client portfolio includes world-leading financial institutions and law firms who expect a flawless service. If you take pride in your plant rooms and thrive in high-spec, tenant-facing environments, this is the role for you.

The Role

You will be the technical lead on shift, responsible for ensuring 100% uptime of critical systems and the impeccable maintenance of the building's electrical infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Critical Systems Maintenance: Undertake PPMs and reactive repairs on LV distribution, UPS systems, standby generators, and emergency lighting.

  • Building Services Support: Manage and maintain AHUs, FCUs, VAV systems, and lighting control systems (e.g., Dali/Lutron).

  • High-End Service Delivery: Respond to tenant requests with professionalism and discretion, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.

  • Compliance & Governance: Ensure all site logbooks are updated to an audit-ready standard and that all works comply with statutory regulations and Health & Safety protocols.

  • Proactive Improvement: Identify opportunities for plant optimisation and energy-saving initiatives within the building.

What We're Looking For

We are looking for an engineer who combines technical mastery with a "corporate" mindset.

Technical Requirements:

  • Qualified Electrician: Minimum NVQ Level 3 (or City & Guilds equivalent) in Electrical Engineering.

  • Experience: Proven background in high-end commercial offices, "Landlord & Tenant," or critical environments.

  • Testing & Inspection: C&G 2391 is highly desirable.

Professional Attributes:

  • Elite Presentation: You must be well-presented and comfortable interacting with high-profile clients and tenants.

  • Problem Solver: A proactive approach to fault-finding with a commitment to "first-time fix" results.

  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written skills for reporting and stakeholder engagement.

Why Join Us?

We offer a stable, professional working environment with a focus on engineering pride and career progression.

  • Days Only Shift Pattern: Enjoy the benefits of a shift allowance without the requirement for night shifts.

  • Extensive Overtime: High earning potential through additional works and projects.

  • Industry-Leading Training: Access to internal and external training programs to enhance your technical skill set.

  • Professional Culture: Join a "One Team" environment that values your expertise and rewards high performance.

If you are a professional Electrical Engineer ready to step into a high-visibility, days-only role, we want to hear from you. Apply today.
