Crynodeb
In this role, you will play a hands on part in shaping students’ learning experiences, delivering practical instruction and assessment that brings their studies to life. You’ll work directly with learners in specialist environments — from skills suites to laboratories — providing the technical guidance and support needed to help them build confidence. Alongside maintaining equipment and teaching spaces, you’ll keep operations running smoothly by managing stock, supporting procurement, and contributing to student projects and events. You’ll also be part of a collaborative team, taking part in coordination, inductions, and training activities. With a strong focus on health, safety, and wellbeing, you will create an environment where students can thrive, offering appropriate pastoral support and signposting when required. This is a rewarding and varied role where you can make a real difference to the student experience every day.
About you
You will have relevant experience in healthcare science or a related technical field, with a strong understanding of practical teaching and technical support in an academic or clinical setting. You should feel comfortable working both independently and as part of a team, with a commitment to supporting student learning and development.
Where you will be working
In this role, you’ll be based at our modern Frenchay Campus
This role is campus based for all your time with the occasional opportunity to work from home outside of teaching weeks.
