This an excellent opportunity for a Nurse or ODP with scrub experience to join our grown Theatres General Team. Here at Heatherwood, we promote everyone looking after each other, listening and action events, regular training, external training opportunities, staff development, and a happy working environment.

As the Band 7 Team Leader for the General Surgery Team, you will expected to have strong scrub practitioner knowledge, and leadership qualities to lead a team professionally and develop their skills further. You will be required to ensure that the practices and behaviours of staff meet our trust values, Theatre Standard Operating Procedures, as well maintaining high standards of quality care. If you are passionate about leading & teaching others, staff wellbeing and experience, providing high standards of care to our patients, patient safety, and making changes then we would like to hear from you.

To ensure good working relationships are maintained with the larger Multidisciplinary team and to wider areas of the Trust.

To have robust budget systems in place to manage the day to day running of the department.
