Summary
Female Support Worker
Pay rate: £13.50 per hour
Shift pattern: Monday - Sunday 7:00am - 19:00pm and 19:00pm - 7:00am
We are looking for caring, reliable and confident Female Support Workers to join a small team supporting an individual who lives at home with their family in Rowley Regis. This person has complex clinical needs, lives with a spinal injury and Autonomic Dysreflexia. They’re full of life, have a brilliant sense of humour, and love spending time with their family. They also have a real passion for hobbies like shooting and getting out and about.
To help make these moments happen, we’re looking for someone local to Rowley Regis who knows the area well and holds a full UK driving licence, being able to drive is essential for enjoying days out together.
What you’ll be doing
As a Support Worker, you’ll play an important role in helping this individual live safely, comfortably, and in a way that reflects their preferences. Your day might include:
- Providing high‑quality support on a 2:1 basis
- Creating opportunities for meaningful activities at home and in the community
- Encouraging social interaction and promoting emotional wellbeing
- Supporting communication in the way that works best for them
- Helping with routine household tasks to maintain a calm, organised environment
- Providing personal care and bowel management care
- This is a role where your presence genuinely makes a difference every day.
What you’ll bring
- Have previous Complex Care experience
- Have a full UK driver’s license & access to your own vehicle
- Be able to work full time with no restrictions to your right to work
