Front of House / Customer Service Assistant
Sumner Auto Electrics LTD is a busy and well-established auto electrical specialist, and we’re looking for a reliable and friendly Front of House team member to join our workshop team.
Hours
Monday to Friday, 9:30am – 2:30pm
(No weekends)
About the Role
This is a customer-facing position at the heart of our business. You’ll be the first point of contact for customers, helping keep our day-to-day operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
• Answering phone calls and handling customer enquiries
• Greeting customers and providing excellent service
• Invoicing and basic admin duties
• Ordering parts and liaising with suppliers
• Supporting the workshop team where required
About You
• Friendly, confident, and professional manner
• Strong customer service skills (this is the most important part of the role)
• Organised with good attention to detail
• Comfortable using computers and basic office systems
• Able to work independently and manage a busy front desk
Experience
• Motor trade knowledge preferred but not essential — full training can be provided
• Previous customer service or admin experience is an advantage
