A respected, busy city centre law firm is looking to recruit a skilled and experienced Residential Conveyancer to join its established team. This is a strong opportunity for someone who takes real pride in client care, enjoys working in a collaborative environment, and can confidently manage a high-volume caseload while maintaining quality.
The role
You’ll handle a varied range of residential property matters and build up to a caseload of approximately 90–120 files. This is a fast-paced department with a strong reputation for service, so you’ll need to be organised, efficient and calm under pressure.
Key responsibilities
- Managing your own caseload with minimal supervision
- Running the full range of conveyancing matters from instruction through to
completion, keeping clients updated throughout
- Opportunity to handle more complex matters including:
- Leasehold transactions
- Re-mortgages
- Transfers of Equity
- Help to Buy
- Redemptions
- New builds and shared ownership
- Company purchases
- Auctions
- Liaising effectively with clients, agents, lenders and other third parties to keep
matters progressing
- Ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and firm procedures
About you
- 5+ years’ experience managing a varied residential conveyancing caseload end-
to-end
- Confident dealing with volume without compromising on quality
- Strong technical ability and attention to detail
- Excellent client care and communication skills
- A team player who contributes positively to a busy department
