Your ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team will be vital, as you liaise with colleagues, families, and external professionals to coordinate holistic support for each client.
A background in team management and supporting clients with additional needs including intimate personal care and support is essential.

£24,242 - £29,245 per annum (52-week contract)
37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, between 9am & 5pm
Enhanced Adult Check Required
Responsibilities
1. Provide operational leadership to the team, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and alignment with Atmosphere’s values. You will also be expected to model exemplary behaviour, setting a standard for both colleagues and clients in your approach to work and interpersonal interactions.
2. Champion and embed person-centred activities that reflect interest of each individual, promoting engagement, independence and wellbeing.
3. Encourage peer support and knowledge sharing to strengthen team cohesion and promote shared responsibility for achieving positive outcomes for clients.
4. Take part in mandatory training and further CPD opportunities as required.
5. Actively communicate updates, changes, and expectations to the team, ensuring transparency and clarity across all levels.
6. Demonstrate adaptability and resilience in response to challenges, supporting your colleagues through periods of change or increased demand.
7. Ensure compliance with all organisational policies and procedures related to health and safety, including regular risk assessments and routine checks of equipment and facilities.
8. Take proactive steps to minimise risks and support the implementation of emergency procedures when required.
9. Attend mandatory training sessions and refresher courses as required, keeping up to date with current legislation and organisational policies.
10. Consistently maintain accurate records in accordance with data protection and confidentiality standards, ensuring that all documentation is clear, concise, and stored securely.
11. Regularly review and update records to reflect changes in individuals’ needs, preferences, and support plans, facilitating effective coordination of care across the team.
12. Ensure all staff in your team are adhering to safety procedures.
13. Be prepared to provide first aid as required.
14. Ensure all staff are aware of the fire evacuation plan for each activity and take the lead in preparing evacuation plans for clients where applicable.
15. Report any potential hazards or safety concerns to the Programmes Manager.
16. Act swiftly and responsibly in the event of a safeguarding issue, ensuring that all concerns are documented comprehensively and shared with the designated safeguarding lead without delay.
17. Always maintain confidentiality, respecting the privacy and dignity of those involved while adhering to organisational policies and statutory guidance.
18. Follow safeguarding protocols and consult with relevant authorities if necessary.
19. Establish and maintain open and effective communication with parents, carers, Adult Social Care, and health professionals.
20. Respond promptly to enquiries, provide updates on client progress, and share relevant information in a timely and sensitive manner.
21. Share with parents/carers and professionals progress made by each client against agreed targets on a quarterly basis.
22. Liaise with health professionals (e.g., doctors, physiotherapists) to ensure comprehensive care delivery.
23. Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to grow and develop the service in line with community needs and Atmosphere’s goals.
Requirements of the role:
Qualified to a minimum Level 3 Health and Social Care
Hold or be working towards First Aid at Work
Hold qualifications in Safeguarding and PREVENT
Willingness to undertake required CPD
Experience of working with adults with additional needs
Experience of target setting and monitoring of progress
Experience of staff management
Ability to give feedback to staff, clients and professionals in written and verbal formats
Excellent ICT skills
