We bring places to life through food, service and creativity and we’re looking for a Events Executive to join our team at a prestigious destination venue in Edinburgh.Location: EdinburghSalary: £27,750 per annumWorking Pattern: 37.5 hours per week (Monday–Friday 9am - 5pm, some flexibility for events)
This role is central to the success of our events operation. You will manage the journey from enquiry to delivery, ensuring clients receive outstanding service and seamless event experiences. The venue hosts everything from conferences, private dinners and corporate events to seasonal and evening functions, including Burns Night, Christmas parties and the Edinburgh Fringe.
Key responsibilities:
  • Convert inbound enquiries into confirmed bookings

  • Proactively follow up on past enquiries and develop new leads

  • Proactively generate and follow up on sales leads

  • Conduct venue show rounds and provide expert advice

  • Prepare quotes, proposals and event documentation

  • Plan events and create detailed run sheets

  • Handover all event details to the operations delivery team

  • Work closely with the Events Manager to meet revenue targets


What we’re looking for:
  • Proven experience in event venues, conference centres, banqueting or hotel events (large-scale events)

  • Strong mix of sales and coordination skills

  • Confident presenting to clients and conducting show rounds

  • Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail

  • Ability to work under pressure during peak periods

  • Flexible approach to working hours when events require

  • Passion for delivering high-quality, memorable events
