Chester Joinery is looking to expand the company further and are looking for a semi-skilled /skilled bedroom fitter/furniture fitter.
Your role will be to go out independently and to assist in the installation of bedrooms and fitted furniture including studies, display units, media units and bespoke fitted furniture. At times you will also be required to work in the workshop and assist in the manufacturing, although your main role will be to be out on the installations.
The successful candidate must:
** Have a minimum of 3 years’ installation experience in fitting bedrooms and fitted furniture independently on their own without assistance and to a high standard (for an organisation and not self employed). Your C.V should clearly highlight where you have gained your experience from.
** Preferably have some experience of working in the workshop on the panel saw and on the bench making the furniture (Not essential but a bonus!)
**Due to the job being physically demanding, you must be physically fit as the job will involve lifting heavy pieces on your own, and you will be required to meet installation deadlines
**Be able to read drawings and cutting lists
** Be able to install a basic run of fitted wardrobes on your own, within 1 day and within working hours.
** Have a high standard of workmanship with close attention to detail to ensure they are delivering high quality results
** Punctuality, reliability and professionalism is essential
** Have a full driving licence to go on our van insurance
**Have access to transport as the workshop is not easily accessible via public transport
