We are currently recruiting a dedicated and enthusiastic Afterschool Cooking Supervisor to join our growing educational team. Positions are available on a permanent basis or as flexible cover staff.
This is a fantastic opportunity to positively influence children’s development through structured, fun, and engaging cooking activities in primary schools.
About the Role
Supervise children during after-school sessions
Teach basic cooking and baking skills
Manage classroom behaviour in a positive and supportive way
Encourage children to enjoy and appreciate homemade food
Create a safe, inclusive, and inspiring learning environment
What We’re Looking For
Experience working with children in a school or childcare setting (preferred)
Strong communication and organisational skills
Patience, adaptability, and a nurturing approach
Passion for supporting young learners
Commitment to safeguarding and child protection policies
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply — we can support you)
Access to a car is a must
Cooking experience is not essential — full training and ongoing support will be provided.
