If so, our client in Prestwich, Borough of Bury, has an exciting opportunity for you to join their team as a full-time SEN Teaching Assistant.

In this rewarding role, you'll have the chance to work alongside a skilled and supportive team of educators, therapists, and support staff, all committed to providing an exceptional educational experience for our students. Based in the charming town of Prestwich, our client is a specialist school that caters to the unique needs of children with a wide range of learning difficulties and disabilities, including autism, ADHD, and Down syndrome.

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you'll be an integral part of our students' educational journey, working closely with them to help them reach their full potential. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing one-on-one or small-group support to students with special educational needs, ensuring they can actively participate in all learning activities
- Assisting with the delivery of personalised education plans, adapting resources and teaching methods to suit each student's individual needs
- Helping students with personal care tasks, such as toileting, feeding, and mobility, as required
- Encouraging social and emotional development by facilitating positive interactions and fostering a nurturing, inclusive environment
- Collaborating with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to monitor student progress and identify areas for further support
- Maintaining detailed records and contributing to the overall assessment and reporting process

To be successful in this role, you'll need to have a genuine passion for working with children and a deep understanding of the challenges faced by those with special educational needs. You should also possess excellent communication skills, the ability to think creatively, and a patient, adaptable approach to your work.

Previous experience as a SEN Teaching Assistant would be highly advantageous, but we're also eager to hear from those with transferable skills, such as experience in youth work, social care, or other educational settings. What's most important is that you share our client's commitment to creating a nurturing, inclusive environment where every student can thrive.

In return for your hard work and dedication, our client offers a competitive daily rate of £102, as well as the opportunity to be part of a close-knit, supportive team. You'll also benefit from ongoing training and professional development opportunities, ensuring that you're equipped with the skills and knowledge to provide the best possible support to our students.

If you're ready to embark on an incredibly rewarding career path and make a genuine difference in the lives of young people, we encourage you to apply for this SEN Teaching Assistant role. Together, let's unlock the potential of our students and create a brighter future for all.

To apply, please submit your CV and a cover letter outlining your relevant experience and why you're the perfect fit for this position. We look forward to hearing from you!
