The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Lead Administrator to join the ‘Bolton Family’ and be a part of our administration team supporting the Looked After Children Team. The role is part-time 18.5 hours working Wednesday afternoons and all day Thursday and Friday. You will work closely with the Team Leader, Independent Reviewing Officers who chair the Review meetings, Health Partners, Social Workers and other members of the Admin team.

The Looked After Children Team work with children and families and other professionals in Bolton to ensure the children and young people are supported to achieve better outcomes and they have every chance to succeed, be safe and be happy. You will join a committed team who are proud of the service they deliver to help children, young people and families achieve their potential.

Lead Administrators are key in ensuring the smooth running of services and the role is exciting and varied. The key duties are (but are not limited to): arranging and organising initial and review meetings, including preparing and sending invites to partners, parents and young people, collating information to request health assessments, uploading document to and updating Liquid Logic (Case Management System) to ensure records are kept accurate and comply with current legislation.

Training will be given to support the successful candidate in fulfilling the role.

About You
You will demonstrate effective communication skills in order to present information both verbally and in writing. You will have the ability to work as part of a team and under your own supervision. You should be able to demonstrate effective organisational skills, with the ability to plan, develop and prioritise your work. You must possess accurate literacy skills to ensure correct information is collated and processed and have good systems skills.
Experience of using a range of computer software packages to produce accurate, well-presented documents is essential, as is a demonstrable ability to handle cash and be able to record and monitor payments in line with financial procedures.
You will possess excellent literacy skills to ensure correct information is collated and processed and be proficient in the use of packages such as Word, Excel and Outlook.
You will have experience of taking comprehensive minutes at conferences or multi agency meetings.
