Start Times: From 04:00am onwards The Best Connection Sheffield is currently recruiting experienced Class 1 (C+E) HGV Drivers for a nationally recognised client based in the Worksop/Blyth area. This is an excellent opportunity for drivers seeking steady, ongoing daytime work with competitive pay and long-term prospects. The Role
- Depot-to-depot trunking
- 8-9 hour shifts
- Minimal handball (if any)
- 5 days per week
- Potential to work 5 out of 6 days (Monday-Saturday) during peak periods
- Weekly assessments and inductions
- Full-time ongoing work available from February/March
- Complete depot-to-depot trunking routes
- Follow daily delivery schedules
- Conduct daily vehicle safety checks
- Drive safely and compliantly in line with UK road laws
- Communicate effectively with the transport team regarding delays or issues
- Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) licence
- Minimum 2 years' Class 1 experience
- Up-to-date CPC & Digital Tachograph Card
- Ability to provide two references
- Excellent timekeeping and communication skills
