Chef Supervisor

Speke, Liverpool

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Chef Supervisor to lead our catering operation and deliver outstanding food and service standards. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate culinary professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to quality, safety, team development and is looking to progress into a management position.

As Chef Supervisor, you will oversee the daily running of the kitchen, ensuring the preparation, presentation and service of food across restaurant, vending and hospitality services to the highest standards. You will lead by example, motivate the team and ensure full compliance with company, statutory and food safety regulations.


What you'll do:

  • Prepare, cook and present food to company standards

  • Supervise the kitchen team and ensure smooth daily operations

  • Maintain food hygiene and health & safety compliance (HACCP, COSHH, FIFO)

  • Monitor food quality, portion control and minimise waste

  • Manage stock ordering and support GP% targets

  • Support menu development and continuous improvement

  • Deliver excellent customer service and handle feedback professionally

What you'll bring:

  • Recognised catering qualification and Food Safety certificate

  • Previous supervisory experience in a busy kitchen

  • Strong knowledge of food hygiene and health & safety standards

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Passion for quality food and customer satisfaction

  • Flexible and able to lead by example
