Summary

Nursery Practitioner (Level 2 or 3) – Up to £27,500

Join a a nursery rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted! It has bright, well-resourced rooms and a large outdoor space complete with mud kitchen and sand area. Children are given time and space to explore, while building their confidence and skills. As a full-time Nursery Practitioner, you’ll be based within one room, contributing to planning, key person responsibilities and the day-to-day care that keeps the environment consistent and calm.

Before You Apply

  • A full and relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification is required.
  • Recent experience working in a nursery or Early Years setting is essential.
  • This role is not suitable for applicants without hands-on EYFS experience.

  • Salary up to £27,500 per year (dependent on qualification and experience)

What You’ll Need

  • Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (full and relevant)
  • Recent nursery experience within an EYFS setting
  • Sound understanding of safeguarding and child development
  • Ability to manage key children and complete observations confidently

  • Deliver high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS
  • Act as a key person, maintaining learning journals and tracking progress
  • Plan and adapt activities based on children’s interests
  • Maintain a safe, organised and engaging learning environment
  • Work closely with colleagues to ensure consistent daily routines
  • Communicate clearly with parents about their child’s development
