The post is rotational throughout Maternity Services, providing care to women during their pregnancy, Antenatal, Postnatal and labour To be responsible and accountable for the delivery of safe, effective and compassionate midwifery care for women, babies and families designated to their care. To exercise accountability as set out in the NMC Code. To supervise, support and educate junior members of the team, acting as a role model. Support the shift leader or team leader to ensure organisational goals/objectives are met. Ensuring that personal clinical and professional standards are maintained within the acute and community setting. To ensure effective communication internally and externally regarding patient care and resources. To comply with the trusts vision, values and behavioural compact.
