Salaried GP (6 Sessions per Week) DeMontfort Medical Centre, Bengeworth, Evesham Band: Salaried GP Start Date: To be confirmed About the Practice DeMontfort Medical Centre is a supportive, progressive, and well established GP practice located in the semi rural area of Bengeworth, Evesham. We care for approximately 8,500 patients from recently extended, purpose built premises within walking distance of the town centre and offering ample onsite parking. We pride ourselves on: Delivering high quality, patient centred care A diverse and experienced clinical team, including ACPs, mental health practitioners, physiotherapists, prescribing nurses and strong administrative staff Streamlined processes designed to minimise GP administrative workload Strong neighbourhood team support for care homes and housebound patients Being an experienced training practice with excellent feedback from trainees Holding a Good CQC rating Job Purpose As a Salaried GP, you will provide high quality primary and continuing medical care in line with the GMS contract, ICB requirements, and practice standards. You will contribute as an effective and collaborative member of the multidisciplinary team, delivering safe and compassionate care to our patients. Key Responsibilities As part of your role, you will: Undertake routine GP duties including consultations, duty doctor cover and home visits Assess patients holistically, considering physical, psychological and social factors Maintain accurate and timely clinical records using EMIS templates and standardised coding Contribute to meeting GMS, QOF and enhanced services targets Request, interpret and act upon diagnostic tests and investigations Prescribe and administer treatments and vaccinations in line with clinical guidelines Make appropriate and timely referrals in accordance with practice and NHS pathways Participate in health promotion and population health initiatives Complete all clinical administration and contribute to audit and quality improvement work Communicate effectively with patients, carers, colleagues and external agencies Uphold patient confidentiality and work within legal, ethical and governance frameworks Attend and positively contribute to practice meetings and service development Maintain compliance with appraisal, revalidation and professional development requirements Undertake any duties within professional competence at the request of the Partners Person Specification: Essential Criteria Full GMC registration and inclusion on the GP Register Evidence of ongoing CPD and commitment to clinical development Excellent communication, consultation and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team Good IT literacy and confidence using clinical systems Awareness of current primary care priorities and NHS initiatives Desirable Criteria MRCGP Experience using EMIS Web and Docman Experience in clinical audits or quality improvement Salary & Benefits Competitive salaried GP package (dependent on experience) NHS Pension Scheme membership Indemnity cover reimbursed Annual leave and study leave in line with policy CPD support and mentorship from a GP Partner
