AmTrust is a global insurance provider offering risk-management solutions and business underwriting tailored to the unique needs of each client. AmTrust International underwrites over $2.5bn of gross written premiums and employs more than 1500 people in 14 countries.
We are now looking for a Due Diligence officer to join our team within reach of our Nottingham, Dublin or London office.
Reporting into the Due Diligence (DD) Manager and supporting with the development, implementation and maintenance of the onboarding and ongoing DD processes across AmTrust International, essential functions of this role will include but are not limited to:
Carrying out due diligence checks on all new business requests, supporting 3rd parties with any queries and assisting with the issuing of relevant contracts.
Maintain orderly files and ensure relevant documentation remains up to date, updating inhouse data systems in line with required timeframes and keeping clear and in-depth notes on all processes.
Proactively handle queries from the business to conclusion, liaising with other areas of the business when required
Ensuring all matters are processed in an efficient, accurate and timely manner whilst demonstrating appropriate, consistent and complete consideration of our customers and potential customers’ interests, throughout our business, on a continuous basis.
The right candidate will possess strong organisational skills, be detail oriented, a good working knowledge of MS office, be an effective communicator and consider yourself a people person and someone who thrives in an ever-changing environment. Knowledge of the financial sector and in particular FCA/CBI regulations would be preferred but not but not essential.
