Hours: Part-time - 20 hours per week
Working pattern: Split shifts, Monday–Friday (term-time + optional holiday camps)
Pay: £10.00 - £12.21 per hour
Use sport to make a real difference in children’s lives
We’re looking for an enthusiastic Level 2 qualified Sports Coach to deliver fun, structured physical activity sessions for primary school children as part of breakfast, lunchtime and after-school clubs in the Eye area.
If you enjoy leading games, building confidence and keeping children active, this is a rewarding role where no two days are the same.
What you’ll be doing
• Leading engaging sports sessions for children aged 4–11
• Creating a safe, inclusive and energetic environment
• Managing behaviour positively while keeping sessions fun
• Supporting breakfast, lunchtime and after-school provision
• Adapting activities for different ages and abilities
• (Optional) Coaching at holiday camps during school breaks
Essential requirements
Due to safeguarding and insurance requirements, applicants must:
• Be aged 18 or over
• Hold a minimum Level 2 NGB sports coaching qualification
• Hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle
• Have experience working with children in a coaching, school or childcare setting
• Be confident leading groups independently
• Hold (or be willing to obtain) an Enhanced DBS
