We are seeking a skilled Commercial Gas Engineer to deliver commercial gas, heating, combustion and building services engineering maintenance across a range of client properties within the designated region.
This role requires a strong commercial gas and HVAC bias, with responsibility for fault finding, repairs, maintenance and installation activities to ensure safe and reliable operation of all systems.
Job Description
We are looking for an engineer who can manage PPM, reactive and proactive works within agreed timeframes, while maintaining high standards of service and customer satisfaction.
The role also encompasses a range of general building services tasks and requires a professional approach when representing the business on client sites.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out commercial gas, heating, combustion and HVAC-bias engineering maintenance across client properties.
Complete PPM, proactive and reactive tasks within agreed service levels and timeframes.
Perform commercial gas and HVAC fault finding, repairs, servicing and installations.
Undertake building services maintenance including fabric, HVAC and mechanical tasks.
Participate in the callout rota and provide responsive support as required.
Conduct basic electrical fault diagnosis and repair across relevant heating systems.
Oversee contractor activities, ensuring standards are met and issuing Permits to Work.
Maintain plant rooms, workshops and storage areas, ensuring cleanliness and compliance with company standards.
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
Experience in providing commercial gas, combustion and heating-related building services maintenance, including fault finding, maintenance and installation.
Previous experience delivering reactive and PPM building services maintenance.
Gas Qualifications
Core Safety: COCN1
Domestic Core Gas: CCN1, CENWAT1, CPA1, ICAE1
Commercial Gas: TPCP1A, ICPN1, CORT1, CIGA1
Additional Requirements
City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2/3 in Plumbing, HVAC, Electrical or relevant discipline
Gas Safe Registered
IPAF / PASMA
Full UK Driving Licence
