Location: On site at our Glasgow Office.

Role Type: Part Time/Full Time/Term Time

Working hours: 9 AM - 5:30 PM

Role Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Business Development Executive in a fast-paced and growing law firm. The role involves identifying and developing new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and professional referrers, supporting marketing initiatives, and contributing to the firm’s strategic growth objectives.

As a BDC, you will support the Head of Business Developing Team in delivering campaigns, promotions, events, and content that drive awareness and sales. This is a hands-on role with exposure to creative, digital, and business stakeholders, ideal for someone proactive, organised, ready to make an impact and grow.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement business development and marketing strategies to support the firm’s growth objectives.
• Identify and secure new clients across personal and corporate immigration services.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, referrers, and professional networks.
• Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and emerging trends.
• Prepare proposals, presentations for the firms director to deliver.
• Manage and track leads through the firm’s CRM system.
• Collaborate with legal teams to align marketing initiatives with service delivery.
• Represent the firm at networking events, seminars, and industry functions.
• Assist in developing online campaigns and promotional initiatives to increase brand visibility.
• Monitor sales performance and prepare periodic performance reports.

What you'll need to succeed:

Qualifications Required

• A recognised degree in Marketing (or closely related field). Alternative qualifications with more than 2 years experience in business development may be considered.

Skills Required

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong negotiation and client relationship management abilities.
• Commercial awareness and strategic thinking capability.
• Ability to meet targets and work in a performance-driven environment.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
• Languages – Fluency in at least one of the South Asian languages would be advantageous but not essential (Telugu/Tamil/Malayalam/Hindi/Urdu/Punjabi)

Experience Needed

• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in business development, sales, or marketing.
• Experience working within a law firm or professional services environment would be advantageous.
• Demonstrated ability to generate leads and convert prospects into clients.
