JOB DESCRIPTION – PART-TIME OFFICE ASSISTANT
BACKGROUND
Ace Seating Hire is an established, family run business specialising in temporary modular seating systems for indoor or outdoor events, large and small. We have earned an excellent reputation within the UK Events Industry for customer service and flexibility, by providing an array of temporary floor and grandstand seating options for Arenas and Showgrounds, schools and theatres, onboard ship and underground, to a multitude of clients.
ROLE
This is a new role to supplement our existing office staff. Initially part-time, with potential to add more hours as the role develops. The main duties and responsibilities of the role are listed below. Please note these are not exhaustive, but highlight the main administrative duties.
• Liaising with clients by email and telephone
• Booking hotels
• Booking and recording additional crew
• Maintaining excel records
• Maintaining small database
• Preparing estimates, invoices, contracts
• Maintaining vehicle
PERSON SPECIFICATION
• Right to work in UK
• Attention to detail
• Confident telephone manner
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, Word
• Office administration experience
• Knowledge of social media platforms preferred
HOURS OF WORK
16 hours per week – plus extra hours to cover staff leave
HOURLY RATE
£12-£14 Per hour – dependent upon experience
