Christ Church Pre-School are looking for a committed and compassionate Level 3 SENCo (EYFS) to join our dedicated team. This is a vital role supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), ensuring inclusive practice is embedded across the setting.



You will work collaboratively with staff, parents/carers. and external professionals to identify needs early and provide effective, child-centred support.



Hours to be confirmed but approximately 20 per week, term time only.



Key responsibilities​

Lead on SEND provision in line with the SEND Code of Practice.

Identify, assess, and support children with additional needs in the EYFS.

Create, implement, and review Individual Education Plans (IEPs)

Work in partnership with parents/carers and external agencies.

Support, mentor, train and advise staff on inclusive strategies and best practice.

Maintain accurate SEND records and documentation.

Promote a fully inclusive, nurturing learning environment.



About you

Hold a Level 3 Early Years qualification (essential)

Must have SENCo training/qualification or willingness to work towards it.

Have a strong understanding of the EYFS framework and SEND processes.

Experienced in supporting children with additional needs.

Have a warm, patient, and empathetic approach.

Possess strong communication and teamwork skills.
