Position: Production Operative
Location: Paisley, Renfrewshire
Shifts: Monday to Thursday, Day shift 0500-1500
Pay: From £12.60 per hour, paid weekly
Contract: Temporary to permanent opportunities

About the Role:
Kenect Recruitment is looking for dedicated Food Production Operatives to join a busy food manufacturing facility specialising in sweet bakery products such as icing sugar, cake fillings, and dessert toppings. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a modern, fast-paced production environment with a supportive team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate mixing and processing machinery to produce bakery products
  • Weigh and measure ingredients accurately according to batch instructions

  • Monitor and perform quality checks on products to ensure they meet company standards

  • Pack, label, and prepare products for shipping and distribution

  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the production area

  • Follow all health and safety, food safety, and company policies and procedures

  • Heavy lifting, manual lifting of boxes, total weight move in a day is arounf 4000kgs

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in food manufacturing is a plus but not essential; full training will be provided

  • Excellent attention to detail to ensure product quality and consistency

  • Physically able to carry out manual handling tasks such as lifting and moving stock

  • Ability to stay productive and focused in a busy, fast-paced environment

  • Reliable, punctual, and a good team player with a positive attitude

  • Reading and writing required
  • Must have own transport due to start time
