This Room Leader role combines direct work with children and clear responsibility for standards, planning and daily organisation. You’ll set the tone in your room and make sure practice stays consistent and purposeful.
Before You Apply
- This role requires a full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification.
- You must have experience as a Room Leader or senior practitioner in a nursery.
- This position is not suitable for candidates without experience leading a room.

- Salary: Up to £32,000 per year
- 40 hours per week
- Full-time, permanent contract

What You’ll Need
- Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification
- Experience leading a nursery room
- Strong working knowledge of the EYFS framework
- Confidence overseeing planning, observations and assessments
- Clear understanding of safeguarding and compliance requirements

- Plan and oversee purposeful EYFS activities
- Monitor observations, assessments and next steps
- Support and guide room staff to maintain high standards
