Summary

Grounds Maintenance Supervisor – Bristol

O'Neill & Brennan are currently recruiting for an experienced Grounds Maintenance Supervisor to oversee works across multiple sites in Bristol and the surrounding areas.

This is a hands-on supervisory role requiring leadership experience and the ability to manage teams working across various locations. A full UK driving licence is essential as this is a multi-site position.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervising and leading ground maintenance operatives across multiple sites


  • Planning and organising daily workloads


  • Ensuring works are completed to a high standard and on schedule


  • Grass cutting, hedge trimming, strimming, turfing, and soft landscaping (hands-on support as required)


  • Monitoring health & safety compliance and conducting site checks


  • Liaising with site managers and clients


  • Managing tools, equipment, and materials


  • Travelling between sites as required


    Requirements:
    • Proven experience in grounds maintenance or landscaping


    • Previous supervisory or team leader experience


    • Full UK driving licence (essential)


    • CSCS card (preferred)


    • Strong organisational and communication skills


    • Ability to motivate and manage a team effectively


    • Good knowledge of health & safety practices
