Summary
Our well-established client, a training provider within the education sector, is seeking an experienced Industrial Trainer/Instructor to join the Stonehouse team on a full-time, permanent basis.
Delivering training to over 10,000 candidates each year, the organisation designs and delivers courses across a broad range of areas including Lifting Operations, Materials Handling, Health & Safety, Construction and Plant Machinery, Transport, and Civil Engineering.
While recognised training qualifications would be advantageous, they are not essential. Applicants with strong, relevant industry experience are encouraged to apply, as full consideration will be given.
Applications are particularly welcomed from Trainers with experience in one or more of the following areas: NRSWA Streetworks, Forklift Trucks, Fire Safety, Lifting Operations, Health & Safety, MEWPS, Working at Height, Plant Equipment, First Aid, Manual Handling, Abrasive Wheels, Banksman.
Please note that this role involves occasional travel and may require some overnight stays and a fully expensed company vehicle will be provided.
Candidate Attributes:
-Expertise with Risk Assessments, QHS&E Policies and Procedures, Safe Systems of Work and Method Statements.
-Possess strong presentation and organisational skills
-Ensure high levels of customer service and positive brand reinforcement.
-Strong interpersonal and communication skills
-Professional, approachable and positive in manner
-Organised and able to work efficiently and cost-effectively
-DBS check required (including additional security clearances where necessary)
-Full UK driving licence
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8am – 4:45pm with flexibility around overnight stays (expenses covered)
Salary: Highly competitive depending on experience
