Job Purpose To provide high-quality, evidence-based general medical services to registered patients, contributing to the effective functioning and development of the practice. Clinical Responsibilities Provide comprehensive primary care consultations Manage acute presentations and long-term conditions Undertake clinical examinations and make appropriate referrals Prescribe medications and treatments safely Provide health promotion and disease prevention advice Maintain accurate patient records in line with professional standards Professional Responsibilities Maintain GMC registration and licence to practise Remain on the NHS England Performers List Engage in continuing professional development and appraisal Participate in clinical governance and audit Work in accordance with practice policies and NHS regulations Team & Service Development Work collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team Support teaching, supervision, and mentoring where appropriate Contribute to quality improvement and service development Promote a culture of safety, learning, and continuous improvement
