Description
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker to join our team in Cardiff. As a Social Worker, you will play a pivotal role in supporting individuals and families in need, providing guidance and resources to help them navigate life’s challenges. You will work within a multidisciplinary team to assess clients' needs, develop treatment plans, and implement interventions tailored to each individual’s situation. Responsibilities
Conduct assessments of clients' needs and develop personalized intervention plans
Provide counseling and support to individuals and families facing various challenges
Collaborate with healthcare professionals and community organizations to coordinate care
Advocate for clients’ rights and access to essential services
Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
Document case notes and maintain accurate client records
Participate in team meetings and contribute to case discussions and planning
Stay informed about social work best practices and relevant local policies and regulations
Requirements
A degree in Social Work from an accredited institution
Valid social work license in the UK
Demonstrated experience in a social work setting, particularly with individuals and families
Strong understanding of social service resources and community support systems
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage a caseload effectively and prioritize tasks
Commitment to professional development and continuing education in social work

Hours Per Week: 36.00
Start Time: 09:00
End Time: 17:00
Pay Per Hour: £29.34
Location: Cardiff, Cardiff County
