Summary
The role
You'll be the go-to person for day-to-day finance and payroll, working closely with managers across several sites. Your work will help ensure timely invoicing, accurate records and clear financial information for the leadership team.
Key responsibilities include:

Daily bookkeeping using Xero and Sage, including purchase and sales ledger processing.

Preparing and raising invoices, posting receipts and helping with bank reconciliations.

Supporting month-end routines and assisting with basic financial reports.

Collating hours worked, assisting with monthly payroll on Sage and helping ensure HRMC/RTI compliance.

Handling petty cash and service user monies accurately and transparently.

Liaising with local authorities, external professionals and internal managers in a professional manner.
About you
We're looking for:

Strong, hands-on experience with Xero and Sage (payroll and accounts).

Previous experience in a finance/admin role, ideally with bookkeeping and payroll exposure.

Good Excel and general Microsoft skills, with strong attention to detail.

A flexible, can-do approach - willing to pick up ad hoc tasks and support colleagues when needed.

The ability to communicate clearly with a wide range of stakeholders.
A background in care, hospitality or a multi-site environment would be helpful but is not essential.

Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm - no evenings or weekends.
