Support young people accessing the CYP Safe Haven in line with service specifications and operating procedures. Provide a safe, welcoming environment in person and online, using de-escalation, active listening, and calm communication. Work 1:1 with young people to develop skills, confidence, and knowledge to manage their mental health, liaising with external services as needed. Co-produce safety plans with young people and provide guidance or signposting on mental health, relationships, identity, emotional regulation, self-harm, and other relevant issues. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of referral pathways and engage with relevant stakeholders including parents and carers. Support the Team Lead with project coordination, including rotas, peer supervision, and reporting. Provide guidance and support to the delivery team in day-to-day service delivery. Keep accurate and up-to-date records in line with organisational policies. Engage young people and families to gather feedback and explore experiences of the service. Support active participation to ensure young peoples views influence service provision and development. Contribute to monitoring and evaluation reports, capturing feedback, quotes, and images from young people where appropriate. Respond to and report safeguarding concerns in line with Everyturn/Children North East policy, promoting a positive safeguarding culture. Develop skills through supervision, appraisal, and training; work autonomously and manage workload effectively. Ensure safe and proper use of equipment and resources, completing required risk assessments. Work within organisational policies and procedures, including risk assessment, health & safety, safeguarding, and confidentiality. Contribute to monitoring and evaluation to ensure service outcomes are met. Promote equality, accessibility, and a welcoming environment for all young people. Attend and contribute to supervision, team meetings, and other collaborative activities. Comply with statutory health and safety duties and organisational arrangements. Undertake additional duties as required, compatible with the role and responsibilities.
