Your New CompanyYou will be joining a well‑established architectural practice with a long-standing reputation for delivering innovative, client‑focused design solutions across the UK and internationally. Your New RoleAs an Architectural Technologist, you will work across a broad range of projects from concept through to completion (RIBA Stages 2-7). Your responsibilities will include:
- Working collaboratively within the design team or independently across multiple live projects
- Preparing planning documents
- Producing detailed technical drawings and specifications
- Liaising with clients, contractors, consultants and stakeholders
- Conducting site inspections, including those requiring physical access such as scaffolding
- Attending meetings both on-site and in the office
What You'll Need to SucceedEssential Qualifications & Experience:
- BSc in Architectural Technology or HNC/HND in Architecture / Building Construction
- Minimum 3+ years' experience in practice post-graduation
- Working towards ACIAT or MCIAT
- Experience across both Residential and Commercial sectors
- Strong technical knowledge of construction methods and materials
- Good understanding of UK Building Regulations and industry standards
- Understanding of the UK planning system
- Proven site inspection experience
Software Competency:
- AutoCAD
- SketchUp
- Adobe Photoshop
- MS Office Suite
Key Skills:
- Organised and detail‑driven
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with clients, consultants and contractors
- Reliable, dependable and able to work independently
- Full UK driving licence
Desirable:
- Experience with Lumion or other 3D rendering software
- Within a 40‑minute commute of Kenilworth
