Your new company
You will be joining a highly respected and well-established Tier 1 contractor operating within the water industry. This multi-accredited and high-profile contractor has a strong pipeline of work directly with Welsh Water as part of their AMP8/AMP9 programme and offers excellent opportunities for career progression and professional development. Their commitment to delivering an exceptional standard of work has positioned them as a leader in the water industry and, as part of their continued growth, they are actively seeking a Site Agent to join their team.

This is a full-time permanent position based in South Wales.


Your new role
As a Site Agent, you'll take ownership of day‑to‑day site management on a range of exciting water schemes. You'll lead the safe and efficient delivery of works, ensuring compliance with design specifications, legal standards and client expectations.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing construction activities to deliver programmes safely, on time and within budget
  • Ensuring accurate implementation of engineering controls and adherence to contract drawings and specifications
  • Producing and briefing risk assessments and method statements to staff and operatives
  • Leading daily coordination with the senior foreman on resourcing, productivity and programme requirements
  • Solving technical challenges and improving site performance in quality, efficiency and safety
  • Coordinating multi‑disciplinary teams including civils and M&E interfaces
  • Promoting continuous improvement and ensuring all personnel receive appropriate training.

This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a pivotal leadership role where you'll shape the successful delivery of essential water and wastewater infrastructure.


What you'll need to succeed
To excel in this role, you will bring:

  • Proven experience as a Site Agent or Site Manager on water (clean and/or waste) schemes
  • CSCS, SMSTS and first aid accreditations
  • Excellent working knowledge of CDM regulations, health and safety and quality management systems
  • Experience managing subcontractors, resources and site logistics
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and direct site teams
  • Sound problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset
  • Full UK driving licence.
