Summary

Workshop Technician

Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 per annum

Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm

Location: Newbury- own transport essential (no public transport links)

Join our clients team as a Workshop Technician, supporting the repair, cleaning, and fault diagnosis of equipment. You'll ensure all equipment is ready for redeployment and meets quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Repair and clean returned equipment
  • Install components onto equipment
  • Diagnose and identify mechanical and electrical faults
  • Provide operational support in workshops, plus the warehouse where needed, including equipment handling and container unloading.
  • Assist customers over the phone with technical queries, maintaining a professional and approachable manner.

About You:

  • Technical aptitude and hands-on repair skills.
  • Ability to diagnose mechanical and electrical faults.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Physically fit, able to help with unloading containers.
  • Good telephone manner for customer support.
  • Must hold a valid driving licence and have access to your own vehicle.
