Veterinary Surgeon Job – Suffolk | Small Animal Vet

A fantastic opportunity is available for a passionate and motivated Veterinary Surgeon to join a progressive small animal practice in Suffolk, based in the historic market town of Bury St Edmunds.

This established practice is home to four experienced Veterinary Surgeons and five skilled Veterinary Nurses who work collaboratively to deliver high-quality patient care. Knowledge sharing, mentoring and professional development are central to the team culture, making this an ideal role for both confident clinicians and Veterinary Surgeons looking to further develop their skills.

The Role – Veterinary Surgeon (Small Animal)

The practice is seeking an experienced Veterinary Surgeon ready for their next challenge within a supportive and forward-thinking environment.

Facilities & Equipment

The Veterinary Surgeon will work across three well-equipped branches, each designed to support modern veterinary care. Facilities include:

• Fully equipped surgical theatres
• In-house diagnostics and laboratory facilities (haematology, biochemistry, urinalysis)
• Dedicated nurse-led clinics
• Preventative healthcare services
• Post-operative care clinics
• Weight management and behavioural support clinics


Location – Veterinary Jobs in Suffolk

Rota

• Full-time Veterinary Surgeon position
• 4-day week (36 hours)
• 1 in 6 Saturday morning rota (with time off in lieu)
