The Role
We are currently recruiting for a Forklift Counterbalance Driver to join a busy and growing warehouse operation based in Chessington. This is a hands-on, varied role, combining FLT driving with general warehouse duties, offering the opportunity to move into a permanent position following a successful temporary period.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating counterbalance forklifts safely
- Loading and unloading deliveries
- Moving, stacking, and organising stock
- Picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch
- Manual handling
- Stock checks and inventory control
- Maintaining a clean, tidy, and safe working environment
- Following health & safety procedures
Requirements
- Valid FLT licence (Counterbalance) - essential
- Previous forklift counterbalance driver / warehouse experience preferred
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
- Good attention to detail
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
