Exciting opportunities are being developed for working within Moreton Ward. We would like to invite applications for this key educational role within Moreton Ward, with an emphasis on Respiratory Medicine.
The role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills together with a positive attitude and a desire to promote clinical excellence.
You will work with other clinicians such as the Respiratory Specialist Nurses and the DAIRS team. The successful applicant will be a senior band 5/6 with experience in the speciality.
As an experience Registered Nurse you will be required to develop Respiratory Nursing by delivering an educational programme to all levels of staff to support health care assistants, student nurses, preceptees as well as those more experienced for their continuing development.
The post holder will have a desire to improve clinical practice, expertise and the patient experience.
• To support the Education, Learning and Development function within the specialty of Respiratory medicine, specifically Moreton Ward.
• Plan, design and deliver evidence-based training utilising a blended approach of classroom and practice-based strategies.
• Work collaboratively with the Matron & Senior Sister/ Charge Nurse to ensure the delivery of effective, high quality, safe patient centred care.
