Are you looking for an opportunity to build on your experience as a Senior Family Therapist or step up to such a role? If so, we have a great opportunity for an experienced and dynamic Systemic Family Psychotherapist who has passion for CAMHS and innovative ways of working and who wishes to develop leadership and management skills.

This post is an integral part of the service with varied and exciting opportunities. You will be part of the Fostering Adoption and Kinship Care Team (FAKT) within the newly established Child Complex Mental Health service line structures. You will offer clinical and line management supervision for junior members of staff including qualified Systemic Family Therapists (SFT), Systemic Family Practitioner (Recruit to Train) Trainee and MA SFT students on placement with FAKT. You will have a leadership role in the systemic discipline in the team and oversee the allocations of systemic family therapy cases to M6 (MA in SFT) clinics in the Fostering Adoption and Kinship Care Team.

You will be offering consultation to colleagues and network.

You will attend referrals meetings and provide support to junior clinicians with intake work.

You will provide direct clinical input to children, young people and their parents/carers. As a senior clinician you will be providing services to clients presenting with a high level of risk and complexity in a multi-agency environment.

As one of the senior members of the team, you will work alongside other senior staff and contribute to the team’s development, as we continue to strive to be an accessible, responsive and innovative service with patient care and patient experience at its heart. There will be a number of opportunities to develop your leadership and strategic skills with support from senior colleagues.

With 500 staff across a number of sites, we are committed to improving mental health and emotional wellbeing, believing that high quality mental health services should be available for all who need them. We bring a distinctive contribution based on the importance we attach to social experience at all stages of people’s lives, and our focus on psychological and developmental approaches to the promotion of health and the prevention and treatment of mental ill health.
