Crynodeb
To assist and contribute to the therapeutic care delivery to patients in the Occupational Therapy service under the direction and supervision of a registered Occupational Therapist. The post holder will be expected: To take responsibility for implementing and managing aspects of the Occupational Therapy treatment programme in consultation with service users and/or carers/key workers e.g. prepare and plan group and/or individual therapeutic activity. To use specialised technical/creative skills to manage and provide a flexible, client centredprogramme of therapeutic activities for individuals/groups of clients aimed at restoring functional ability in hospital and community settings, across specialities working and with other professional groups/agencies. To assess for standard aids with guidance of the Occupational Therapist To work as part of the Occupational Therapy team. To promote independence, health and well-being and safety in hospital or community settings. To carry out routine administrative duties as per departmental policies.
