Crynodeb
Key responsibilities and Duties: Clinical duties include (but not limited to): Performing phlebotomy, blood pressure monitoring, ECGs, ambulatory blood pressure monitoring, urinalysis, temperature, pulse and respiratory monitoring, recording weight, height and waist circumference and BMI. Patient Care: Conduct new patient health checks, NHS Health checks, Long Term condition monitoring and basic wound care Support Procedures: Assist with coil fittings and chaperone patients during exams Vaccinations: Administer vaccinations (e.g flu, B12) under strict patient group directions (PGD) and protocols. Administration and Maintenance: Maintain, sterilize and clean clinical equipment, manage vaccine / cold chain storage, ensure consulting rooms are stocked and maintaining administrative records accordingly. Attend nursing team meetings, participate in audits and development of protocols and new services. Health Promotion: Advise patients on minor ailments, health promotion, and lifestyle management (smoking cessation, weight management etc).
