DAYS: Monday – Friday (40 hrs per week)
Are you looking for a stable role in a growing business that offers training in new skills and clear opportunities to progress as the company expands? This established manufacturer is looking to recruit an experienced Production Assembly Operative to join their expanding production team on a permanent basis.
This is a great opportunity for someone with hands on experience assembling products or equipment within a manufacturing environment.
The Production Assembly Operative) will be responsible for:
• Build products from start to finish following drawings and work instructions.
• Manually assemble mechanical and electro-mechanical components and finished machines at a bench or defined assembly station.
• Carry out sub-assembly work and light fabrications using hand and power tools.
• Ensure quality and consistency standards are met for all assemblies.
• Pick parts and materials required for assembly.
• Pack and label finished products for despatch.
We are looking for someone who has experience in:
• Proven experience in a product assembly role within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience assembling mechanical or electro-mechanical products.
• Confident using a variety of hand and power tools for assembly.
• Previous Experience working at a bench or assembly station.
• Confident in working from a variety of manufacturing drawings.
