An exciting opportunity has arisen for aFire Alarm Engineer / Fire Safety Engineer to join a well-established company specialising in fire safety solutions providing fire risk assessments, installation and maintenance of fire detection and suppression systems.

As aFire Alarm Engineer / Fire Safety Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering maintenance and servicing fire protection systems to ensure compliance and safety. This full-time role offers a salary range of £35,000 - £45,000 and benefits.

The ideal candidate should be within a 45-minute commute of the office.

You will be responsible for

- Conducting inspections, testing, and maintenance on fire alarm systems, emergency lighting, and fire extinguishers

- Diagnosing faults and undertaking remedial work where required

- Ensuring all work meets British Standards and strict safety requirements

- Maintaining accurate records, job sheets, logbooks, and certifications

- Liaising with clients to maintain satisfaction and professionalism

- Travelling to various client sites, which may include overnight stays

- Keeping company tools, vehicles, and testing equipment in excellent condition

What we are looking for

- Previously worked as a Fire Alarm Engineer, Fire Safety Engineer,Fire Service Engineer, Fire Protection Engineer, Fire Systems Engineer, Fire Alarm Service Engineer, Fire & Safety Engineer,Fire Extinguisher Engineer or in a similar role.

- Proven experience of 5 years working with Fire Alarms, Emergency Lighting or Fire Extinguishers.

- Knowledge of both Conventional and Addressable Fire Alarm Systems

- Familiarity with major fire panel brands (e.g., Kentec, CTEC, etc.)

- Physically fit and mobile, able to carry tools and climb ladders

- Adaptable and able to manage a varied work schedule

- Full UK driving licence
