We are recruiting a Healthcare Assistant to support an individual with complex needs within their own home in Dudley. This is a bespoke, person-centred care package delivered by a small, nurse-led team with a strong focus on continuity, safety, and high-quality care.
About the role
- You will provide compassionate, high-quality care tailored to the individual’s needs, promoting dignity, comfort, and wellbeing at all times. You will work as part of a consistent care team and will receive full training, supervision, and ongoing support.
Contract type
- Zero-hours contract, with the opportunity to progress to fixed hours as the package develops and hours become established
This role is suitable for carers seeking flexibility with the potential for longer-term stability
Shift pattern
- Current hours: 11:00am – 7:00pm
- Planned change coming soon: 3:00pm – 10:30pm
Shift patterns may adjust as the package evolves, therefore flexibility is required
Key responsibilities
- Deliver personal care in line with detailed individual care plans
- Support with daily routines and activities
- Observe, monitor, and report changes in health or wellbeing
- Maintain clear, accurate, and timely care records
- Work professionally and respectfully within the individual’s home environment
Essential requirements
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, required due to the specific needs of the package
- Previous experience in a health or social care setting
- Calm, reliable, and professional approach to care
- Ability to follow structured care plans and clinical guidance
- Good verbal and written communication skills
