This is a strategic leadership role for a facilities expert who thrives in fast-paced, multifaceted environmentsand who can balance operational excellence, capital project delivery, and regulatory compliance with a strong focus on sustainability. The Role As Head of Facilities, youll be central to our mission to create and maintain environments where exceptional care can thrive.Youll oversee all aspects of facilities operations, ensuring our care homes, offices, and services are safe, compliant, and fit for purpose. From managing large-scale refurbishments to delivering new builds, youll lead capital projects with confidenceon time, within budget, and aligned with our strategic goals.Youll also drive high standards across day-to-day maintenance, supported by a responsive, solutions-focused team, and collaborate with Procurement to ensure consistent service delivery across cleaning, maintenance, and security. Health and safety will be a key responsibility.Youll act as the Responsible Person for Legionella, oversee statutory inspections, and ensure full compliance with insurance and regulatory requirements.Sustainability will also sit at the heart of your remit, as you work closely with our ESG Group to embed environmentally responsible practices throughout our estate. Your data-driven approach will support long-term planning and investment decisions at board level, helping to shape a facilities function that enhances the care experience and reflects Agincares values in every space we operate. About You Were seeking a dynamic, forward-thinking leader with a deep understanding of facilities management in complex, multi-site settings. You will be: A natural communicator, skilled at leading teams and engaging a wide range of stakeholders Highly experienced in capital projects, property maintenance, compliance, and health & safety Commercially aware and financially confident, with strong project and contractor management experience Comfortable working cross-functionally with operations, finance, sustainability, and compliance teams Professionally qualified (IOSH, NEBOSH, IWFM or equivalent), with a proven track record in senior facilities leadership About Agincare Were a family run business that's been caring and supporting people since 1986.
