Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Medicine Directorate for anElective and Diagnostic Booking Officer, based atWexham Park Hospital.
This position is offered on afixed-term contract for 12 months.
We are seeking anapproachable, motivated, and patient-focused individualwho will uphold our Trust values and deliver an excellent standard of service to patients and colleagues.
This is abusy and fast-paced role, requiring exceptionalorganisational and multitasking skills, alongside the ability to work calmly under pressure. You will play a key role in coordinating elective and diagnostic appointments, ensuring that patient pathways run smoothly and efficiently.
Excellentcommunication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to teamwork are essential. The ideal candidate will be proactive, adaptable, and eager to learn, contributing positively to a supportive and dynamic administrative team.
The post holder will be responsible for booking appointments across all Trust sites.
They will have an active role in the implementation, as well as ongoing monitoring of both new and existing appointments systems.
The post holder will assist with meeting Trust targets.
The post holder will be required to offer very high customer service skills for patients and both internal and external staff.
